What can arbitration lawyers do to get arbitrator appointments? For a special episode of Arbitration Life and myArbitration for ICCA 2022, Hana Doumal and Victoria Pernt sit down with Brandon Malone. Brandon is a barrister, arbitrator, adjudicator, disputes board member and mediator with over 25 years experience in dispute resolution. He is a solicitor advocate in Scotland with rights of audience before the Court of Session, the High Court, and the UK Supreme Court, and a practising barrister authorised to practice in all courts in England and Wales. He is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Construction Law, and as a specialist in Arbitration Law, and convenes the Society’s Arbitration Accreditation Committee. In 2016, he became Scotland’s first Approved Solicitor Arbitrator. His focus involves construction, engineering, infrastructure and energy, and general commercial disputes.
