I know, it's another long one. I just had too much fun. lol Had an excellent lunch at Old South Bar-B-Q in Smyrna. Always nice to start an adventure with a full belly. lol Headed to Emory University North Decatur campus. Told a friend I'd find us something cool to see. I hope I didn't disappoint. Stopped by and grabbed a couple of bottles of Prosecco. That's the sparkling wine I had while in Savannah. lol Nice to have on hand in case you want to celebrate. You know the deal. Scroll through. See what you like. Lullwater Preserve Originally Muskogee Indian land. Transferred at Trail of Tears. 250 acres was eventually purchased by William Candler of Coca-Cola fame. Alumni of Emory and raised race horses. Built an incredible Tudor mansion in 1920. Added a dam and mill to generate power. All stonework was quarried on the property. The 210 foot suspension bridge connects Emory University with the VA Hospital. Another beautiful day in Georgia. Be Still and Know...you know the rest.
