Primate Ayodele explained that he was divinely inspired to construct the mosque as a symbol of religious tolerance and unity among Nigeria’s diverse faith communities. He urged religious leaders across the country to use the ongoing Ramadan and Lenten seasons as opportunities to promote peace, tolerance, and coexistence. In her remarks, Chief Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo praised Primate Ayodele’s initiative as a rare and commendable act of interfaith solidarity. She expressed gratitude on behalf of the Mogaji and Tinubu families, noting that the gesture demonstrates that Nigerians remain one family bound by love, regardless of religious or ethnic differences.
