Prof Ed Galea, Director of the Fire Safety Engineering Group (FSEG) of the University of Greenwich is interviewed on the Sky News Channel (on 19 July 2022 at 16:40 to 17:00) concerning the Wennington wildfire and more generally about the threat of wildfires in the UK. In the interview, Prof Galea mentions the Swinley Forest wildfire of 2011 which was a wake-up call for the UK to the threat of wildfires.
