LINKS: Jump-ring opener https://amzn.to/33K7teA Back in May we dived into this Victorian bottle dump - and what a great idea that was!! Tiny treasures abound here and we collected some very cool inkwells, perfume bottles, a wee frozen Charlotte leg, a pair of incredible ceramic animals - we know the Ram was a jar lid, but what might that cow have been? Let us know if you think you can answer that, please. Craig set his sights on amassing as many Victorian Jars as he could lay his eyes on - and he did pretty well... You'll see how he did at the end of the video... But what was our star find of the day? No golf-balls here, so we have to look at that beautiful milk glass vase that Nicole found - such a satisfying find, left by the bottle diggers! Could it be the segment of Spongeware bowl that we left behind - we see someone else came along after we left and found that too!! Oh! Could it be the incredible Victorian, carbon, water filter? What a piece that is!! Or! The TW Pipes! We know they started a storm in someones teacup, but, because we film videos weeks in advance, we will have to return to that question in another video - don't miss it - Craig even puts his old uni lecturer hat on to say a few words about good research practice and the analysis of material culture - after all, its his area of expertise! Buttons, baubles, marbles and ceramics - is there nothing this place doesn't have? Even a stunning Victorian tile - check out our new channel next Sunday to see what we do with that and another amazing find we made recently! From next Sunday, our craft and jewellery videos will be moving to Crafting with Scottish Mudlarking - pop by, check it out if you enjoy these videos and subscribe to help us reach 100 subs in one week!!
