Here is Video 4 of 6 in my 6-part video series on the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT). In this video I go over the ACFT 3 REPETITION MAXIMUM DEADLIFT hitting on some points of performance, alternate training options and how you can program for yourself to lift heavier weights! As always, any questions just hit me up in the comments! My biggest tips for you are to: 1. Take your set-up seriously EVERY REP 2. Deadlift ONCE per week (maybe twice, but probably not necessary if you're doing other stuff) 3. START now, start light, and build week to week. STRENGTH is a marathon not a sprint. Be patient, be consistent, and take it one 5lb PR at a time. 4. KEEP IT SIMPLE! 5. Also, don't forget to get nice and warmed up on testing day. Get there early if you have to, get warm and stay WARM!
