Blow-in of microducts, relining or subducting. This technique has many names, buts it’s all about avoiding making a new trench, and instead use already installed ducting. In this area bundles of Ø50 were installed in trenches more than 10 years ago. Some of them were never occupied. That means there is an opportunity to install smaller subducts. The relining can be done by jetting for example. In this video we show how to feed 5 sub ducts into a Ø40. The sub ducts are Ø10/8 suitable for 96 or even 144 fiber count cable.
