I needed storage for my cocktail hobby so I began to look at bar carts. After seeing the versatility of airline trolleys, I was determined to convert one into a bar cart. The only affordable full size trolleys I found were from this Etsy seller, WyldebyrdArt. I chose a non-ATLAS standard trolley just because I didn’t know what the difference was. https://www.etsy.com/listing/10011201... If you buy a trolley that conforms to the ATLAS standard, then it’ll be easier to purchase accessories, like drawers. The pro for my particular trolley though is that it’s slightly bigger than an ATLAS standard trolley (mine is 1” wider and 2” deeper.) From start to finish it took me about one month (working during my daughter’s school days) to finish this project. It was a fun learning experience and definitely worth it. The trolley acts as a movable counter space and I’m able to store all my liquor bottles, mixers, bar books, and small glassware. This the video where I got the idea to wrap my cart in vinyl: • Restored Qantas 747 Galley Cart I split this video project into several parts.
