Hey everyone and welcome back to the channel. Today’s video is a bit different, because this is not just another gameplay video, and it’s definitely not a normal Battlefield upload. This is the moment where I finally explain why I stopped playing Battlefield. Since Season 2, I started writing down every single thing that bothered me about the game. Every frustrating mechanic, every bug, every design decision that made me question the direction of the franchise. Over time, this turned into something much bigger than I expected. At this point, I have more than 40 pages of notes, ideas, and problems that I want to talk about. So this video is the beginning of that journey. I want to explain my personal experience with Battlefield in its current state, what frustrates me the most, and why I feel the franchise is moving further away from what made it special. This is not meant to be a hate video. It is an honest and detailed discussion from the perspective of a long-time Battlefield player who cares about the future of the series. In this first episode, we focus on one of the biggest issues in my opinion: the loss of Battlefield’s core identity. For me, Battlefield was always about Combined Arms. Infantry, vehicles, air support, and teamwork working together in large-scale, structured battles. Every role had meaning, and every match felt like a real battlefield with strategy, positioning, and long-term decision making. Today, however, the game often feels more like a chaotic arcade shooter. The focus seems to be shifting toward fast infantry combat instead of tactical gameplay. Vehicles feel less important, structure and frontlines are less visible, and many matches feel random rather than strategic. I also talk about why the comparison with other shooters, especially Call of Duty’s large-scale modes, is becoming more relevant. Battlefield used to stand out because of its unique gameplay, atmosphere, and depth. But if that identity fades, the franchise risks becoming just another shooter. This video is the start of a series where we will go step by step through the biggest problems: gameplay, balance, progression, monetization, content, and the overall direction of the franchise. I want to have an open discussion with the community, because your perspective matters as well. Maybe you agree, maybe you completely disagree. Either way, I want to hear your thoughts. So grab a drink, get comfortable, and let’s talk about the future of Battlefield. If you enjoyed the video, don’t forget to like and subscribe. More in-depth Battlefield discussions are coming soon. 🔥 HASHTAGS #Battlefield6 #Battlefield #BattlefieldDiscussion #Gaming #FPS #BattlefieldCommunity #BattlefieldNews #FPSGames #ModernShooter #GamingDiscussion #BattlefieldFans #TheGeneralMattis
