We see advertisements of companies trying to sell freedom or a lifestyle of freedom; however, I do not think that this is freedom. I think that these things can even take away from freedom. In order to understand freedom, I think we need to personify freedom and figure out who this character is. In this video, I give "8 Ideas That Personify Freedom." 1. Society is a bully and Freedom is the only one bold enough to stand up and fight Society is a bully that pushes us around with debt, jobs, and beliefs, and like most bullies many people will never stand up to them because they're scary. Freedom, however, is willing to stand up and fight because Freedom is not scared of the bully that is Society. 2. Freedom's best friend is Risk (and they ride together) If Freedom were to have friends, Freedom's best friend would be Risk. It's impossible to get to know Freedom without knowing Risk. They are always together and will always be together. 3. Freedom is dangerous (and that's what makes Freedom so attractive) Freedom's personality would be dangerous. Freedom would be fearless and do what it wanted. That dangerous personality is what makes Freedom so attractive and without it, Freedom is not as attractive. 4. Freedom never behaves Society has the tools of money, power, and abundance to get us to behave and not stand up to Society. Freedom, however, doesn't behave and stands up for what is right, not what is popular. 5. Freedom is natural (and only sees the natural) Freedom does not associate itself with money, power, and abundance because Freedom is far more superior. Freedom exists in all of us, but lies dormant wanting to come out and show us its potential. 6. Freedom only lives in the present Freedom does not live in the past or the future because Freedom knows that the present is the only time period that truly exists. 7. Freedom ain't gonna meet you halfway If you would like to meet Freedom and achieve freedom in your life, you have to march a long journey out because Freedom is doing its own thing. And on that journey, you should expect to meet Risk. 8. Freedom is perfect, but humans are not Freedom is perfection; however, we humans are not so we can never truly understand Freedom. In this process of personifying Freedom, I understand that Freedom is simply Freedom.
