Following great success as a project manager of research and development of electro-acoustic systems, namely in the Italian and European automotive industries, Francesco Tordini began his thesis in Montreal (McGill University) in order to further his research on the auditive experience. A self-defined "engineer who is passionate about neuroscience applied to sound perception"; he is convinced that a significant revolution can be made in the way sound is applied in engineering. He is already envisaging a number of major applications in the areas of video gaming, virtual reality and medical devices.
