The Porsche Cayenne Electric launches a bold new chapter for the brand, blending classic Porsche sports-car DNA with cutting-edge electric performance. As the most powerful production Porsche ever, it delivers up to 850 kW (1,156 PS), 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, and fast charging of up to 400 kW. With a WLTP range of up to 642 km, it stands among the most capable electric SUVs on the market. Since its first generation in 2002, the Cayenne has been central to Porsche’s success in the premium SUV segment. This new, fully electric version pushes that legacy forward, pairing daily usability and long-distance comfort with genuine off-road capability. Porsche’s rapid shift toward electrification – already over a third of its global sales – continues with this flagship model. At launch, the lineup includes the Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric, both equipped with all-wheel drive and Porsche Traction Management. The Turbo variant offers sustained high performance through motorsport-inspired direct oil cooling, delivering up to 630 kW in standard driving plus an extra 130 kW via Push-to-Pass. Even the base model is quick, hitting 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reaching 230 km/h. Efficiency also plays a major role, with energy recuperation of up to 600 kW allowing the motors to handle most braking. Standard adaptive air suspension improves ride comfort, while options such as rear-axle steering and Porsche Active Ride boost stability and agility. Charging is one of the Cayenne Electric’s strongest advantages. It's 113 kWh battery with double-sided cooling supports 800-volt fast charging up to 390 kW, enabling a 10-80% charge in under 16 minutes. Porsche also offers 11 kW inductive wireless charging for added convenience. The design evolves with clean proportions, frameless doors, Matrix LED headlights, and a refined aerodynamic package. A 0.25 drag coefficient is achieved through adaptive aero elements, active aeroblades, and a sealed underbody. An optional Off-Road package enhances capability on rough terrain. Inside, the cabin offers more space thanks to a longer wheelbase, plus up to 1,588 litres of cargo capacity. New comfort features include configurable Mood Modes, sliding rear seats, a Panoramic Roof with Variable Light Control, and expanded ambient lighting. Customers can tailor their Cayenne with a wide range of colours, wheels, interior packages, and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur options. Digital tech reaches new heights with the latest Porsche Driver Experience, featuring a curved OLED Flow Display, a redesigned digital instrument cluster, and an available passenger screen – the largest display area ever fitted to a Porsche. Additional upgrades include an AR head-up display, improved voice control, third-party app integration, and the Porsche Digital Key. Porsche confirms that combustion and hybrid Cayenne models will continue alongside the new EV, giving customers long-term flexibility.
