The grafts are inserted strategically in a way that fills in the balding areas, improves the density of hair in that area and aesthetically will improve the overall look of the recipient site and hairline. The average procedure requires anywhere from 500-2000 grafts and can be done in a day, within 4-8 hours, depending on the number of grafts being implanted. In terms of pain, local anesthesia is administered to alleviate any discomfort during the FUE procedure. The actual procedure also leaves no long or visible scarring which is a wonderful bonus and change from surgeries of the past.
