Welcome back to Never Too Old! 🚐✨ Today, I’m tackling one of the scariest parts of my campervan conversion so far—drilling a hole in the side of the van to fit the external water inlet. The weather in Northern Ireland wasn’t on my side (sun one minute, pouring rain the next 🌦️), but I set up a tarp and got to work. Honestly, I was absolutely dreading this job. Cutting into the van body with a hole saw is nerve-wracking—especially when your drill starts smoking and the cutter gives up halfway through! 😱 It wasn’t pretty, and I definitely don’t want to do it again—but the inlet is in, watertight, and secure. Another big step forward in the van build! 👉 If you’re working on your own DIY campervan conversion, I hope this helps you avoid some of my mistakes. Don’t forget to like 👍, subscribe 🔔, and drop a comment (especially if you know what went wrong with that hole cutter!). Every bit of support means the world as I grow this little channel.
