Their status vis-à-vis the Israeli occupation is the same, and the struggle for a Palestinian state is the same. But caught between the occupying power's hammer, which stirs up denominational conflicts, and the anvil of radical Islamism, which is gaining ground, Palestine's Christians are being driven into exile, and their population is inexorably dwindling. Faced with the apparent indifference of Western Christians who abandon them to their fate, they now find themselves helpless and, in every sense of the word, at the foot of the Wall... The approach of this documentary was precisely to meet this community of Christians, to understand the central role it continues to play, despite its small numbers, in Palestinian society and resistance to occupation. Beyond its specific religious practices and diversity, what values does it strive to uphold and bear witness to on a daily basis, drawing on its history, culture and heritage?
