Wild Grape Vine Christmas Ball Ornament | DIY Project from Raw Material

I made a DIY Christmas ball ornament using wild grape vines a the raw material. The Process: I stared by collecting some wild grape vines from behind the house. Since winter had already hit, the vines were a little stiff and dry. I made them more pliable by soaking them in hot water for about fifteen minutes. Once soaked, I coiled 3 short pieces of vine into identical size coils using some thin aluminum wire to secure them. I then fit the three loops together to form the framework for the ball. Once the framework was done, all that was left to do was add more vine to the existing structure. I also added the curly bits of vine to the center of the ball for added visual appeal. The last step was to make the hook from some of the same wire. I think a red ribbon would look better, but I didn't have any at the time.
