NRI - No Regular Items. ie, no accessing the or Quick Pockets commands inside or outside battle. Also, no Auto Phoenix/Med/Potion armor abilities. Use command and Mix ovedrive are allowed. NS - No Summons. You can't summon except when forced to. (Exceptions: Forced Garuda battle in Besaid, forced fights against Isaaru.) NDG - No Dropped Gear (from bosses). NTNGNFB - No Threaten, No Gravity attacks, No "Full Break" Skill. NNE - No [No Encounters] auto-ability. NTQ - No Trio of 9999/Quartet of 9 Mixes. Alongside with those restrictions, I will also do a progression lock where you will not be allowed to do postgame stuffs (Cavern of the Stolen Fayth and beyond) before beating BFA & Yu Yevon. This is to ensure BFA is at its intended difficulties. The Guado Guardian chase is not that bad thanks to Provoke. This means that Tidus can't do anything though because he doesn't have Darkproof, so the fight can dragged on for a while. The Snow Wolf and Mafdet can be easily taken care of with Darkness from Kimahri & Wakka. I customize Dark+Silencestrike on Wakka's Magic+20%+3 empty slots weapon from all the way back on Besaid, where originally a woman will give you the Ace Wizard for counting the seagulls from vanilla. Yes, I came back there just after I beat Spherimorph, cause at this point there's no way to get a 3 empty slots weapon for Wakka. I don't want to waste customizing Dark+Silencestrike on a 2 slots weapon, and I need the strike for Bikanel to save MP. It was about 2.5-3 hours round-trip for me, but very manageable because of how stronger you are compared to your first visit. You probably could get away with not getting one tbh, a Silencetouch + 2 empty slots weapon sold by one of the Moonflow Vendors could also serve as a substitute, but mostly I just want to be extra safe. The Ice Flan could be taken care of with Provoke, as usual, and it's more effective than ever because it counters everything now. Provoke even won't make them use Silenceproofify, so Provoke+Silence+Poison will take care of it easily. The Evil Eye is the most dangerous in this area imo, they do so much damage which is why I equipped Lightning Ward on the entire party, except Tidus since he's using the Ice Ward+Silence+Poisonproof armor for the Guados. They are number one priority to kill, any combination of Cura, Watera, or Wakka's Waterstrike can kill them, if Lulu has Magic+10% then Wakka's attack without Waterstrike could also kill them. When there's 2 of them I found that Sleeping one of them is better, since they could get 2 turns back to back and one shot Tidus because he's not using Lightning Ward when facing the Guados.
