Part 1: • Exploring Crosley Tower Before Demolition ... This is part 2 of looking around a few buildings at the University of Cincinnati. In part 1, we saw the elevators and abandoned 16th floor in the soon to be demolished Crosley Tower. In this video, we start off by looking at a awesome original 1960s Otis dumbwaiter. Unfortunately, it is no longer in operation. We then head over to ride the elevators in Rieveschl Hall, which is connected to Crosley Tower. Lastly, we end by riding the elevator in Langsam Library. Crosley Tower and Rieveschl Hall were built in the late 60s and Langsam was built in the late 70s. They are all built in the brutalist/modernist style, which I find very interesting. Unfortunately, the elevators have all been modded so it's hard to tell what they are. I would assume that since the dumbwaiter is Otis, the passenger elevators in Crosley Tower and Reiveschl Hall are also Otis. The elevator in Langsam Library looks like it might be an old Dover.
