The false starts were me getting on foil but not able to build the speed to firm up the pump. I’m so used to the bigger foils that it takes me a second to soften my pump. The rest of the run was a bit surprising… looking back at the speeds… I thought I was going quicker out there than I actually was. I think that is because I was actually going quick than I would have been but taking different lines. I suspect I was overtaking bumps at a higher rate so faster than the conditions a-b but not actually a faster ground speed we’re I to be shooting down the line. I have the 1121 up for sale on trademe but as stated in the vid I will take it down and consider using it more… I suspect when is onshore ocean conditions I’ll actually need the 8’6 board to get it up to speed… that is another purchase I was considering selling but I think it has its place currently until I know more about it. I want to take out the 8’6 when the bumps become the sizes of houses, I think the extra board will allow me to more easily get up foils like the 1121 of smaller spitfires more easily.
