How to Get the Fire of God - Bring Them Back Into My Presence Lk 24:49 “And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here (WAIT) in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.” Ex 33:11 Inside the Tent of Meeting (presence), the Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. Afterward Moses would return to the camp, but the young man who assisted him, Joshua son of Nun, would remain behind in the Tent of Meeting. • Remaining in the presence of God does something to you • God lights the fire, but it is our responsibility to keep it burning • When we spend time with Him, He sets us on fire like Himself • Be filled and filled - private intimacy produces public power Eph 5:18 Don’t get drunk with wine, because it makes you lose control.
