Target 2035 is proud to present the Critical Assessment of Computational Hit-finding Experiments (CACHE) initiative - an open science competition where participants computationally predict hits for pre-defined disease-associated protein targets. Computational hit-finding is poised to dramatically improve in coming years thanks to continuous advancements in computational power, the dramatic expansion of the accessible chemistry space, more robust physics-based methods/force fields and the maturation of deep learning. CACHE will reveal the most efficient computational methods for hit-finding and guide future technological improvements.
