Beginners may want to start with lower intensities and shorter duration workouts and gradually increase as their fitness improves. Someone who is already physically active may be able to go hard from the start. Remember to warm up before and cool down after your elliptical workout. Warming up helps prevent injury and warming down helps your muscles recover. For elliptical workout benefits to last, aim for at least 2-3 sessions per week.
