Courage, Community and Connection: Reflecting on 30 Years of Toronto’s AIDS Memorial

In honour of World AIDS Day, the Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN) is taking a look back at the first thirty years of the Toronto AIDS Memorial. Muluba Habanyama interviews three long-time community members to find out what the memorial means to them. A big thank you to Grace Chiutsi of AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT), Trevor Stratton of Communities Alliances & Networks (CAAN) , and Rodney Kort of the OHTN for participating. The AIDS Memorial was built in 1993 -- thirty years ago this year -- in Toronto's Barbara Hall Park, behind The 519 community centre.
