Buy tools and parts for your front ball joint replacement on your YXZ1000R here: https://bit.ly/Yamaha-YXZ1000R-Ball-J... See how to replace the front ball joints in your Yamaha YXZ1000R in this video from Partzilla.com. The top and bottom ball joints on the steering knuckle are the same part number, as are the circlips that hold them. So order two of each for one side, four if you’re doing the left and the right. We’ll start by removing the hub and the caliper, and then we’ll work on the suspension components like the A-arm and shock. With those removed, we can get the steering knuckle free of the unit and remove the ball joints. We’ll then press in the lower ball joint, and then we’ll completely remove the upper A-arm from the unit to press in the upper ball joint. Then, we’ll get everything reinstalled. A bit of advice: if you’re going to pull everything apart, do yourself a favor and do the top and bottom. They tend to wear out equally, and it’s a lot of work to not just replace them both while you’re at it. Read how to do this job step by step here: https://www.partzilla.com/blog/yamaha...
