Don't forget to hit subscribe so you won't miss out on the other challenges! Yesterday, you became aware of a pattern. Today, we're not going to fix it or change it. We're going to practice something that sounds simple but changes everything: kindness. Here's what most people get wrong about kindness. They think it's about solving problems. About making things better. About positive thinking. But that's not what kindness is. Kindness is unconditional acceptance of what's already there. Why does this matter? Because your nervous system doesn't regulate through force or willpower. It regulates through safety. When you observe what you found yesterday (in the Gates of Awareness) and then meet it with kindness instead of judgment, your nervous system relaxes. You're telling your body: "I see you. I see the pattern. And you're safe." That's it. That's the practice. Today's challenge: I'm going to guide you through a kindness meditation. This is 7 minutes of practicing unconditional acceptance toward yourself. Then, after the meditation, take the triggered moment you identified yesterday. Look at it again. But this time, approach it with curiosity and kindness instead of judgment. Notice what shifts in your body when you do. The practice: Listen to the guided kindness meditation (7 min) After, revisit yesterday's triggered moment Meet it with curiosity: "What was my nervous system trying to do?" Meet it with kindness: "That response made sense at the time" Notice what shifts You're not fixing anything. You're just changing your relationship to what's there. See you tomorrow. Roselyn P.S.
