The Cave is an album conceived as a connected space of ideas. All songs were composed and written by Michael Rolke, with all instruments performed by him. Each track stands on its own while serving a specific role within the album. What links them is a restrained philosophical reflection on everyday existence – movement, perception, and the moments in between. The album was developed over two years of focused creative work and was mixed and mastered by Siggi Bemm at the Woodhouse Studio in Hagen.
