Memories at the Niles Canyon Railway (2011-2019)

All of this stock footage was done when I was still living in California prior to moving to New Hampshire in 2019 after graduating from SMC. The Niles Canyon Railway will forever hold a special place as a unique railway operation that works diligently at preserving California's railroading heritage. Most of the film seen here were done when the Winter Rail Photography events were taking place along with some brief sightings of Clover Valley #4 operating in early May of 2019 before the Golden Spike Anniversary and the arrival of Columbia River Belt #7 "Skookum". I will consider returning to this railway someday when the line is completed to Pleasanton and getting to see lots of SP and other steam locomotives operating for special events.
