Our key reading is Book of Jeremiah 17:7–8: “They will be like a tree planted by the water…” Jeremiah describes a person whose roots go deep — so deep that heat does not destroy them. This is long-term faith. Not dramatic. Not reactive. But steady. Over decades, roots thicken. Faith matures. Prayer deepens. You may not feel spectacular — but depth is not flashy. Rooted women carry wisdom, perspective, quiet strength, and gentleness shaped by experience. Deep roots allow us to bless others without being blown about by every change. This is faith that lasts. Not because life was easy. But because God was faithful. As I slow stitch through this final reflection, each stitch becomes a reminder that formation takes time. Thread by thread. Day by day. Year by year.
