The Best Arroz Con Pollo (One Pot Chicken and Rice) Panamanian Style. This Recipe is absolutely perfect with the right amount of each ingredients to compliment each other. Recipe You'll Need 8-10 Pieces of chicken 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of paprika 1 garlic clove 2 cups of rice 3 cups of water 1/2 of a chopped onion 1/2 red bell pepper 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley 1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro 1 jar green olives 1/2 bag of peas and carrots 2 packages of Sazon Goya (for color) not needed 1 chicken bullion cube Boil Chicken with celery salt, salt, paprika, and garlic clove until fully cooked. Let Chicken cool down by removing from the stock it has created and preserving it for later use. Once chicken has cooled all the way begin to shred meat away from the bone. Once all your chicken is shredded you should now heat your chicken stock on med/high heat. Now that the Chicken stock is boiling add your rice and all other ingredients thereafter remembering to stir as you add to achieve maximum distribution on your ingredients through out the rice. Let Rice boil. Once the water is below the rice level lower your heat to medium and cover allowing the rice to sweat. Once rice grains has expanded a bit give it a good stir taking all the dry rice on top and folding into bottom. This will get all your rice to cook evenly. Cover your rice once again and put on low heat for about 5-10 minutes or until rice is cooked to your liking.
