Colorado Trail Thru Hike Day 1 | The Start of the Journey at Waterton Canyon

On Sunday July 14th I set out on an attempt to thru hike the Colorado Trail Southbound. This video is my first day out hiking the trail. I flew in and stayed in Denver at the Ember Hostel on July 13th and was picked up by a channel viewer and driven down to Waterton on July 14th. The start of the trail through Waterton Canyon I thought was really beautiful. I had always heard it was just something you walk through but never heard anything about the views inside. After the dam, you begin to make you way up the ascents. I stopped after about 14 miles this day and camped at one of the cooler spots I've been able to stay at in my hiking days.
