CP Historic Locomotive hauled trains on the scenic Douro Valley Line, Portugal

Comboios de Portugal (CP - Portuguese Railways) Locomotive hauled trains on the Douro Valley Line, Portugal A series of footage showcasing the various locomotive hauled services on the stunning Douro Valley Line from Porto to Pocinho, Portugal. This line hosts the awesome and venerable CP Class 1400 diesel locomotives that were designed and built by English Electric, some of which were built in the UK. These are closely related to the UK British Rail Class 20 diesel locomotives and sound similarly good. Also featured is the CP historical steam tourist train, hauled by an oil fired steam locomotive between Regua and Tua. Finally, a French built Electric locomotive is seen bringing in the rolling stock at Porto Sao Bento station. The footage concludes with some ridealong footage from the noisy diesel locomotives.
