Day 2 & 3 of my Oregon road trip take us through some truly breathtaking spots in Central Oregon! 🌲 On Day 2, I hike the Little Crater Loop at Paulina Lake — a short, scenic trail with incredible views of the caldera and sparkling blue water. Then I drive to the top of Paulina Peak, one of the highest drivable viewpoints in the state, with panoramic views of the Newberry Caldera and Cascade volcanoes. On Day 3, I slow things down at LaPine State Park, home to Oregon’s largest ponderosa pine tree. The Big Tree Trail is an easy, peaceful walk surrounded by towering pines and the calming Deschutes River.
