Today I’m continuing work on my Tranquil Garden Needle Roll kit by Sue Spargo and diving into some beautifully dimensional embroidery stitches. In this session I work through: Four-round trellis stitch (detached buttonhole variation) French knots Tête de Boeuf stitch (bull’s head stitch) Bullion Knots Chain stitch edging Double cast-on stitch This project is such a deep stitch study — working with wool appliqué, pearl cotton #3, #5, and #8, and specialty needles like milliners and chenille needles. It’s definitely not a “mindless stitching” project — it takes concentration — but the texture and dimension are absolutely worth it.
