Hand Embroidered Needle Book Cover | Slow Stitched with Lace, Wool Felt & Dimensional Flowers (Pt 1)

🧵 Today I’m starting a new handmade needle book — a stitched and embroidered cover filled with dimensional flowers, lace, wool felt, and layered fabrics. This piece feels more like textile art than a simple sewing accessory, and in this first video I focus on building the floral embroidery design using: • Bullion knot roses • Fly stitch leaves • French knots • Queen Anne’s lace details • Cast-on dimensional stitches • DMC thread color combinations The inside of the needle book will include real wool felt pages (important for protecting your needles), and in Part 2 I’ll begin assembling the book and layering fabrics and lace. I stitch slowly, talk through the process, and share the real-life background sounds and thoughts that come with making something by hand. This is slow stitching in its truest form.
