ATSF 3751 Steams to Trainfest at Los Angeles Union Station! 9/9/2023

Today I caught ATSF 3751 getting ready for it's showing at Trainfest in Los Angeles. It was the final piece of equipment out of many things such as ATSF 5704, BNSF 3755, and more, that needed to be moved to the station. It was prepped at the night in North 8th Street Yard, where once it was ready to go, AMTK 509, a yard switcher, backed into it, and led it into Union Station as 3751 does not having working PTC, which is required to run along the Metrolink River Subdivision. Despite the Amtrak DasH-8 ON point, the Santa Fe steam engine was still doing all the work, and flew down the Metrolink River Subdivision at track speed. Once it arrived at Union Station, the Dash-8 headed back to 8th Street. Following 3751's arrival, I spent about 15 minutes at Trainfest looking at BNSF 3755, ATSF 5704, and ATSF 3751.
