In this part, we go through Citrus Land, Donut Land, and The Second Gate. We help out Shep and Donna along with meeting Hairold. These are the stages shown in this part: The Clappy Trio: From the original Rhythm Tengoku, this level has you clapping in rhythm with the other cats. It's simple enough. Its Star is kind of tough to get, though. Shoot-'em-up: From Rhythm Heaven on the DS, you have to memorize the pattern of the invaders and shoot them to the beat of the music. It may seem tough at first, but you'll definitely get used to it. Stylus controls are actually a bit better for this one. Micro-Row: This level is from Rhythm Heaven Fever. You're a microbe and you have to swim in sync with the other microbes surrounding you. Every time you hear a chime, you need to press A three times in succession. It's a pretty straightforward and simple level. Again, this Star is a pain, though. First Contact: This is a level that's new to this game. You're in an interview and all you have to do is translate what the alien says by pressing A to the same beat as his sentences. It's probably one of my favorite new levels in this collection. Bunny Hop: This level isn't changed at all from Rhythm Tengoku. You simply have to press A to the beat of the music as the bunny hops along turtle shells and whales. Sometimes it'll get launched into the air. Count to yourself and press A as soon as the bunny lands. I'm happy to see this level return as it's one of my favorites from the original game. Airboarder: This level is from Rhythm Heaven and hasn't been changed at all. All you need to do is duck under incoming blocks and hop over ones on the ground. If there are ones you need to jump over, you'll ALWAYS need to crouch under the ones beforehand. Exhibition Match: From Rhythm Heaven Fever, this level pretty much just has you counting to 5 to the beat of the music. It gets trickier with less and less audio cues. Memorize the count to 5 and hit that ball out of the park! Tongue Lashing: This is another new level. As a chameleon, you need to eat the bugs to the beat of the music. Yellow ones are simple enough, but red ones have a different pattern where they'll bob a few times before going down. It's definitely one of the catchiest songs in the game. Sick Beats: This is actually a level from Rhythm Tengoku and the second challenge of this game. It's much easier than Coin Toss, for sure. You just need to stab those pesky viruses with forks before they get to the two creatures on the bottom of the screen. Some of the viruses require more forks to take down than others.
