We all have knives though we rarely have an easy method for keeping them sharp. This system is simple, inexpensive, and keeps your knives razor sharp. A few further comments: *The first time you sharpen a knife with this system you will need to reset the blade angle and this means spending the majority of your time on the course blue stone. One knife I had required I've 150 strokes. It's best to rinse after that kind of work. *You probably don't need to rinse after you use the second two stones. *Once the new blade angle is set, using the sharpener again will only require between 10 to 20 strokes on the blue, fewer on the pink and the same amount on the fine. It's quick! I don't receive any benefit from IKEA or any other source. This was my 2017 'Gift of the Year' and I gave it to my friends and family. I then made the instructional video to facilitate its use. I hope you found it useful!
