Dolby On App DEMO/REVIEW Sorry for the low volume of my voice! This video is a brief review and demo of Dolby On, the smartphone app that is a video and audio recorder capable of live streaming, noise reduction, file trimming, and sound adjustments. If you're stranded without your recording equipment (like I am) or just want to have a high-quality recording device capable of capturing high-quality video AND audio without needing to use an external microphone, then this app is very useful! I have found it easy to use, flattering, and also pleasing to the eye. As a Classical violinist, recording audio with just a smartphone microphone always sounds unflattering. Using Dolby On app gives added depth and resonance without using an external microphone or doing any post audio editing. If you're a musician and want a recording that sounds great and is easily shareable, then this app is a plus. It does increase gain significantly though and so I hear general volume and background noise as very heightened. The noise reduction feature however is helpful in correcting this and is worth experimenting with. What do you think of the app? Do you think it sounds flattering? Or unrealistic?
