Welcome everyone to this fantastic destination called LA SILAMPA. How to get to Chorro La Silampa? By car: Take the Panamericana Highway. If you're coming from the east (Coclé, Panama City, etc.), enter through El Jagüito. If you're coming from Veraguas or Chiriquí, enter through Santiago. Stay on the highway until you reach San Francisco. From there, follow the signs to Calobre and then the signs to La Yeguada. In both cases, you'll pass through Calobre and can be guided using Google Maps; these are main streets with virtually no detours. When you reach La Yeguada, you'll know because you'll see the Mi Ambiente station. Take the street on the left (it's toward the parking lot) and continue to Chitra. You'll see a Welcome sign indicating your arrival, and then a parking space. Guides will be there. The road is paved, and some parts are better than others, but overall it's quite good. You may lose the sign before arriving. By bus: You can reach Chitra directly from Santiago. To get to Santiago, you can go from Panama City or David. It's recommended to be dropped off at the entrance to the La Silampa waterfall trail. During the tour, you'll appreciate very diverse landscapes, spectacular views of the mountains, the fresh breeze, and the peaceful countryside. We recommend bringing water, food, comfortable clothing, sneakers or hiking boots, plenty of energy, and a spirit of adventure.
