Land Rover Series 3 Restoration - part 7 of Project Pickle the 1976 88” progress on the tub.

Hi and welcome back to the channel, In this video we are saving what we can from Pickles rear tub and using a donor one for panels that aren’t worth saving to make one good rear tub. Instead of spot welding the panels together we have used solid aluminium rivets that are held flat on the face and primed over on the back, a technique used a lot in the aviation industry and one that shows a real hand built aesthetic which is missing with builds these days, I quite like the look of them.
