Watch live coverage as SpaceX launches a Falcon 9 rocket with another batch of 21 satellites for the company’s Starlink internet service. Among those, 13 feature Direct to Cell capabilities. Liftoff from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is scheduled for 2:18 p.m. EST (1918 UTC) on Saturday, Feb. 8. The first-stage booster, tail number B1078, which is making its 17 flight, will land on the SpaceX drone ship 'A Shortfall of Gravitas' stationed in the Atlantic Ocean, a little more than eight minutes into the flight. The mission, designated Starlink 12-9, will be the 11th launch of Starlink satellites in 2025 and the 17th flight of a Falcon 9 rocket this year. The Falcon 9 will head away from Cape Canaveral on a south-easterly trajectory. Commentary will be provided by Spaceflight Now's Will Robinson-Smith, starting approximately an hour prior to liftoff.
