This is the eleventh lecture in the Cognitive Neuroscience course. Emotion is one of the most complicated and complex of the human cognitive processes. Researchers debate about what the true definition of emotion is and whether it encompasses just the brain activity involved or if it is more diffuse and involves all of the bodily reactions as well. We explore here the different types of ways that the definition of emotion has evolved throughout the history of cognitive neuroscience.
