Tried to eat all the Mountain Man scramble but it was a DNF. Bought new pack … current one just too big already sliding down my hips … shipped it home. Ouch. But better to be comfortable if I want to get this thing done. That took three hours at Outdoor 76. They were great, especially Jonathan. Then sat in Crabtree General Store for two hours decompressing with coffee. Then to Ingles Supermarket for two day resupply to the NOC in Wesser, NC. Then to Lazy Hiker for a burger and beer. More tired than 16 miles on trail! Also, lost headlamp.
