Tuba Tune - Norman Cocker - Johannus Live III AGO

This is the best-known work of Yorkshire-born composer, Norman Cocker, who was famously organist of Manchester Cathedral as well as playing the organ in several of Manchester's cinemas, too. It is played on a Johannus Live III AGO organ, using the sample of the fine Forster and Andrews instrument (as rebuilt by Compton) in St George's Church, Stockport. The sample sets can be heard from four positions: console, front of the church, centre of the church, rear of the church. This recording uses the rear of the church position.
