I am getting it prepared for the grueling Appalachian 1000 - Dueling Banjos endurance rally coming up this July in the hills of West Virginia and Kentucky. I'm riding to raise awareness for the Special Operations Adventure Foundation, my foundation that provides camaraderie, purpose and direction for our special operations veterans who often time struggle with reintegration with civilian life after service. The rally is hosted by ‪@backroadsofappalachia‬ To ensure that I have a strong showing at the rally, I am doing lots of things to the 701 to make sure it is ready for the event. I have been running a Power Commander on the bike for around 4000 miles and, while it hasn't ever failed me, I always worry about something going wrong while I am far from any help and on my own out in the wilderness. Jordon Stamm at Tune Logic USA has written me a solid performance tune for bike with the mods that I have made to it.
