Microwave Garlic Potatoes

Microwave Garlic Potatoes 4-6 medium potatoes 1 large onion, diced 1 stick of butter, cut into pats garlic salt (about 1 Tablespoon) to your taste Scrub the potatoes but do not peel them. Peel the onion. Cut up the potatoes and onions into bite-size chunks. Place them in a microwave safe glass dish that has a lid. Place pats of butter on top of potatoes and onions. Sprinkle generously with garlic salt. Cover the dish with a lid. Microwave on half for five minutes. Stir potatoes. Microwave on high for another 10 minutes. Check potatoes for doneness by sticking a knife into a few pieces to see if they are soft. If they are not done, microwave in two-minute increments until they are done.
