Here is the second Z Mega Evolution that is encountered in the Mega Dimension DLC story, and the first and only one that is obtain during then, it is Mega Absol Z. Its Mega Stone, Absolite Z is obtained during Mega Dimension, and it is the only Z Mega Evolution that is obtain in the story, as you can't even get Mega Lucario Z until you have beaten Mega Dimension, and Mega Garchomp Z isn't even available yet. To go over Mega Absol Z, it becomes a Dark/Ghost-type, and I have seen it referred to as a One-Winged Angel like a certain Final Fantasy villain, and I have read that people have compared its colour scheme to Shadow the Hedgehog, as it is black in colour and it does have some red as well, I don't mind the design for Mega Absol Z, and while I did like the other Mega Absol, I prefer this one more. You do obtain Absol during the main story as it was the first Rogue Mega-Evolved Pokémon that you fight against, and Mega Absol Z is the first DLC Mega-Evolved Pokémon that you obtain. It is a rare Pokémon in the wild as it can be found on rooftops, and it can know Zen Headbutt as an Alpha Pokémon. Then for stats, while Mega Absol gained Speed and Attack, as well as a bit of Special Attack, Mega Absol Z goes all in on Speed and Attack, its defensive stats don't change, so Mega Absol Z is a glass cannon. For stats, it has 154 Attack, a 24 boost to its Attack, and only 4 more Attack than Mega Absol, and it has base 151 Speed, so it gains 76 Speed. Mega Absol Z has higher Attack than Mega Absol by 4 points, and 151 Speed is very good, it is the same as Mega Lucario Z, so this Pokémon should be a powerful physical sweeper. Z Mega Evolution fire off attacks faster, but the Mega Power drains quicker, making Mega Absol Z best for inflicting massive damage or beating foes before its Mega Evolution wears off. Absol did gain Ghost-type moves like Shadow Sneak and Phantom Force in the Mega Dimension update so that Mega Absol Z has some good Ghost-type STAB. It does already get Night Slash and Shadow Claw for moves, and with its high Attack, it can make use of Knock Off, Aerial Ace, Slash, Rock Slide, Play Rough, Zen Headbutt, Stone Edge, X-Scissor, and Close Combat, and it can use Swords Dance to boost its Attack. It has access to status moves like Thunder Wave, Taunt, and Will-O-Wisp, but as this is a glass cannon, Mega Absol Z is all about beating its foes with its faster attacks, it can unleash Phantom Force quicker, and it can hit hard with Night Slash and Close Combat, but the downside is that Mega Absol Z can only have four moves at a time, so it can be hard to fit in moves like Stone Edge, Zen Headbutt, and Play Rough in there. For Pokémon Champions, Mega Absol Z is expected to be a top tier threat, and the counter to Shadow Rider Calyrex, Mega Absol Z has one point higher Speed than Shadow Rider Calyrex, and as it is 4x weak to Ghost, Mega Absol Z can get in a hit with Night Slash, Sucker Punch, Knock Off, or Shadow Sneak to take out Calyrex in one hit. With its high Speed, Mega Absol Z can sweep with Knock Off and Shadow Sneak for moves, and it has coverage in Close Combat, Stone Edge, and many other attacks. For its Ability, I would go with Tough Claws, but I don't want to give it to every physical sweeper there is, but I have seen Technician as a possible Ability for it, and I wouldn't mind that, as that would work with moves that have 60 base power or less, and Absol does learn those moves, like Bite, Thief, Aerial Ace, Rock Tomb, Brutal Swing, and Shadow Sneak if it gets that in Pokémon Champions. Another Ability that could work is Sharpness, Absol does learn moves like Night Slash, X-Scissor, Psycho Cut, and Aerial Ace, and that would be a good Ability for Mega Absol Z, and I wouldn't mind seeing it on Mega Absol, as that would be a better Ability for it than Magic Bounce. Depending on what Ability it ends up getting, Mega Absol Z would be a top tier Dark-type, and this will be the counter to Shadow Rider Calyrex that we have waited for, as Mega Absol Z does have higher Speed than it. We do finally get a Dark/Ghost-type that has good attacking stats, it is immune to many types, like Normal, Fighting, and Psychic, and it only has one weakness, and it is to Fairy-type moves.
