Sinking feeling: Russian soldier has regrets after BTR plunges into lake near Bakhmut

A Russian soldier was caught by a drone regretting his choices after the BTR he was riding in sank during an attack in Ukraine. Russian troops launched an assault to the south of Bakhmut with two armoured vehicles carrying dozens of troops into battle. But one of them plunged into a ditch and its crew were forced to bail out, while another drove into a lake and sank like a stone. A survivor of the sinking BTR was then spotted sitting on the bank of the lake, staring at the fully submerged vehicle. The video was taken by Ukraine’s 92nd Brigade which has been holding back Russian attacks in the area for several months.
