Coverage of two new vessels showcased by Abu Dhabi Shipbuilding (ADSB) during IDEX / NAVDEX 2025. ADSB's CEO David Massey discusses the Falaj 3 Missile Boat and FA-400 Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV). ===================== Built entirely in the UAE, the 62-metre Falaj 3 missile boat marks a key milestone in ADSB and EDGE’s vision of strengthening the nation’s sovereign naval capabilities. The United Arab Emirates Navy will receive four Falaj 3-class OPVs as part of the project. The 60-meter vessels are based on the Fearless-class patrol boats from ST Engineering. The Falaj 3 features a design that reduces radar cross-section, infrared signature and acoustic signatures to provide a stealthy profile at sea. Designed and built entirely in the UAE, the FA-400 demonstrates exceptional operational versatility, reinforcing its role as a strategic asset in modern naval operations. The integrated naval suite is being delivered through PULSE, the Abu Dhabi-based joint venture between EDGE and Indra, further enhancing local industrial expertise and capability development. ===================== For new videos every week, subscribe here! http://www.youtube.com/c/NavalNews?su...
