Motorcycle Tour of The "Wales 360" - Episode 3

Our final episode of our Wales tour takes in the delights of the lovely seaside town of Beaumaris and it's spectacular castle, we drink in one of the oldest pubs in Wales before we take a detour off the official 360 route to enjoy the sublime Llanberis Pass. Our plan to stop off at the famous Pen-Y-Gwryd Hotel was scuppered by Covid - met a couple of intrepid cyclists who live near Chamonix in France (Apologies to them because we took their card and misplaced it so couldn't recall their names! If you're reading this, please drop us a line with your details). We experienced some very changeable weather conditions over Pen-Y-Pass! Betws-Y-Coed was as busy as ever and our route through Blaenau to get to Bala took us well into the low cloud base! Our hotel in Bala was a real find with terrific food and drink. Sadly, we left Wales in the glorious sunshine we'd been hoping to have the whole trip! Our final stop (After the 360 was complete) was in the delightful, historic town of Ludlow in Shropshire and another castle to explore! All in all, mixed weather but a great tour despite that!
